@LinaXJester222 ursula is a rather sexual being, for one thing lol. The scenes could be slightly “scary” for younger kids… and the part where Eric stabs her with the ship is revolting haha.
@FiryClaw Yeah I understood the movie :) you’d be surprised how easy it is to understand the movie without them. It’s like… Ariel makes a wish, then all of a sudden she has legs…. then she has this big adventure on land, kidnapped by a witch and dragged into the water… turned back into a mermaid and Eric is lying on a beach unconscious. Other than the fact Eric had fainted, it made sense to me lol
I wasn’t alowed to watch this scene when I was little lol- nor the part where Ursula turns into a giant and gets punctured. I always feel weird when I watch the scenes now because I’m used to the movies without them haha
from the eyes, im not sure, but the one that talks first is flotsam. and im pretty sure that most of the time floatom starts the sentences while jetsam ends them.
I’m a HUGE TLM fan and when the musical came out I could pick out what scenes they had pulled the tune from. My fav song in the musical is Beyond My Wildest Dreams because that tune is the music that most sticks out in my head as “curious Ariel” music!
Most of the music in this film correlates to the Broadway version. I myself was stunned when I saw that Howard Ashman had written all of the lyrics for the Broadway version, but he did make this movie and Beauty and the Beast out to be like Broadway musicals…so he probably wrote all of the songs and those songs were added to the Broadway version.
wonderful.. maybe i can make this video with my voice.. however i like alan menken very much.. can you make another instrumental video of the little mermaid when ariel goes in the ship and find the ‘dinglehpper’ or when she talk with scuttle please?
@MrsPippinBaggins I see ;D XD
@LinaXJester222 Eh, my ma just didn’t want me grabbing the thorns ;)
@MrsPippinBaggins Yeah, but, scary things happen in life… The worlds not full of roses XD

@MrsPippinBaggins Why?
…Uh, Other then these molesting fishes and uh, violence…Yeah
I like the bit where i could hear what they were saying the most :l
The music at the beginning is so sad. I remember when Ariel cried after Triton ruins her stuff i wanted to cry along with her.
@MrsPippinBaggins That’s … Did you even understand the movie without those scenes? xD

@disneyprincess90 Well actually you can, all you have to do is just listen to how flo and jet sound like and try to copy it.

At 00:55, you can hear the cue that was transformed into “Sweet Child” on the Broadway production!
